šImproved Inchling Origin 2.1.2 - Changelog
š Major Overhaul š
- Complete Rework: The Improved Inchling Origin has been rebuilt from the ground up, ensuring a fresh and optimized experience for all players.
- Latest Origin Mechanics: Utilized the latest version of Origin's mechanics for crafting abilities, powers, and negatives.
šØ Features & Improvements šØ
- Inchling Ascendancy: Refined the old "climbing" ability with new wall-running mechanics for smoother vertical navigation.
- Silent Stride: Improved stealth mechanics, ensuring Inchlings remain undetected by Sculk Sensors.
- Sugar-Fueled Frenzy: Added sugar rush effects for a more immersive experience without overpowering gameplay.
- Companion Mounter: Enhanced mounting mechanics for better interaction with entities. Dependency on Extra Origins' "Jockey" power removed.
- Efficient Metabolism: Reworked hunger mechanics to provide a balanced gameplay experience.
- Fall Damage Mechanics: Players can now fall from up to 3 blocks without taking damage. Falling from 4 blocks will result in intended fall damage, fixing the previous jump-and-land damage issue.
- Enhanced Jumping Ability: Players can now jump a whole block, addressing the limitations experienced in the previous version.
š Bug Fixes š
- General Fixes: Addressed and resolved known issues from previous versions.
- Armor Mechanics: Fixed issues related to Inchlings wearing armor, ensuring a balanced weight-to-movement ratio.
- Slow Miner: Resolved an issue with the "Slow Miner" power that didn't allow users to break certain blocks such as grass, flowers, crops, and other blocks with a hardness of 0.
- Sugar-Fueled Frenzy: Addressed the critical bug where players suffered from endless nausea, hunger, and blurred vision after dying under the influence of the sugar rush effects. This fix prevents these effects from persisting beyond their intended duration and after player respawn.
- Companion Mounter: Fixed bug that prevented to feed and interact with pets and other entities, now uses Secondary active key to use.
š¢ Community Feedback š¢
- Player-Driven Improvements: Incorporated feedback from the community.
- Open for Feedback: I'm always listening! Share your thoughts and suggestions for future updates.
š Optimization & Performance š
- Enhanced Performance: Optimized code for better performance, reducing lag and ensuring a seamless experience.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
