Changelog
v1.0 - 2026-07-25
Added
- Added the new card inspection experience with a cleaner translucent panel, 3D drag rotation, card zoom support, and sharper high-resolution card artwork for inspection.
- Added collectible card finishes. Iron, holographic gold, and diamond finish cards can now appear in the normal reward flow with low drop rates.
- Added a card pack reward flow. Completed runs can now grant an Adventure Card Pack that is stored in the warehouse, inspected, opened through a vanilla-style GUI, and resolved into collectible card choices.
- Added the card warehouse recycle bin. Players can now enter recycle mode, mark unwanted cards or packs, and destroy them intentionally after a second click.
- Added wax seal collection support. Players can choose where to place a seal during collection, and sealed metadata is stored on the item instead of requiring duplicate card registrations.
- Added pack-opening audio cues using vanilla Minecraft sounds, including distinct reveal feedback for special card finishes.
- Added debug-only entries and commands for checking card packs, special card finishes, wax seals, and sound cues without adding those debug resources to the normal gameplay pool.
- Added release records for publishing builds, including per-version changelog drafts, screenshots, platform copy, and Gradle build-version binding.
Changed
- Reworked card item visuals around the current layered card-art pipeline, including clearer cost, attack, health, sigil, front, back, edge, and finish resources.
- Updated diamond card visuals with a dynamic prism-style background and angle-reactive diamond pattern treatment.
- Updated gold and diamond special-card reveal presentation so higher-rarity pulls feel more distinct.
- Updated warehouse behavior so card packs are stored as collection objects first, then transfer their run metadata to the selected card after opening.
- Updated card-pack GUI behavior so reopening an already confirmed pack returns to the revealed result state instead of resetting the pack flow.
- Updated message bar and adventure flow copy so routine progress links are less noisy during battle.
Fixed
- Fixed the tutorial battle failure flow so it no longer leaves normal adventure node choices in the hotbar after a failed standalone tutorial.
- Fixed magma cube death behavior so it creates small magma cubes instead of normal slime units.
- Fixed Wither so it now suppresses death-trigger sigils without applying ongoing damage.
- Fixed death-trigger suppression to include split, explosion on death, web on death, infest, and resource on death.
- Fixed boss defeat collection tracking so defeated bosses can appear correctly in the almanac.
- Fixed Infinite Card marker items so protected marker items cannot be placed.
- Fixed the abandon-run flow by adding a second confirmation step.
- Fixed card-pack model seams and trimmed the most obvious transparent gaps between the front and side faces.
- Fixed stale battle tests so card-balance edits no longer break sacrifice-cost logic tests.
Validation
- Passed
gradle test. - Passed
gradle build.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
