Changes
Polish and Fixes
Faster loading
- Big modpacks load faster: Numen prices are now worked out once, when the world starts. In a 318-mod pack this took 5 to 7 minutes in 0.9.91, and now takes about 1 second
- Joining a world no longer searches the map for structures to show the Rift Altar's loot
- Starting the game with Tensura no longer crashes
The world through the Sunstone
- Trees: The green strands round a trunk are round tubes of light now. The trees have new and improved effects too
- Sunlight: New effects in daylight, under open sky
- Dark places: New effects in the dark, in tunnels and around monster spawners
The Arcane Anvil
- The Nullifying Gem: The visual of the Nullifying Gem has been improved and reworked
- The Chaos Orb: The visual of the Chaos Orb has been improved and reworked
- The Warp Gem: The visual of the Warp Gem has been improved and reworked
- The help text over the anvil's empty slots shows only when your hand is empty
- A blank Warp Gem says the potency of sigil it takes (40), and a sigil that is too strong or too weak says so on its tooltip in the crafting grid
Attributes above 100%
- 10 attributes keep going past 100%: Accuracy, Freeze Chance, Frost Armor, Daze, Sweep Damage, Explosion Resistance, Sneaking Speed, Soul Sand Speed, Water Movement Efficiency and Cleanse now do more above 100% instead of stopping there. For example Cleanse above 100% leaves the Cleansed effect, 1s for every 10%, which keeps new harmful effects off
Fixes
- The Rhabdos bolt does 2x the damage
- Fixed ritual summons costing far too much on the outer rings. Each ring now adds 5% to the cost and the charge time
- Fixed a graphic bug that showed odd lines in the Sunstone's mark over an ancient city
- Fixed a graphic bug: the Kobalos's shield and portal hid the water and ice behind them
- Fixed the colors of ritual glyphs: each ring shows its own glyphs, each in its own color
- The text shown with Ctrl on glyphs and sigils is smaller, so it fits on the screen
- Other players now see the raised Sunstone held in both hands
- Creatures pay fewer essences when scanned, especially the most expensive ones, for balance
- The Sunstone and the Powered Sunstone have new icons, a golden rim with copper
- The Sunstone is crafted from 7 gold ingots, 1 copper ingot and 1 Pure Calcite
- Fixed text that repeated itself in the Table of Practice's creature studies
- Two stats were both called Swim Speed: the game's water stat is now called Water Movement Efficiency
- The Cleansed effect has its own icon
- Fixed how the Numen flow, the links and the Rhabdos look with Sodium and Iris
- The credits card shows a picture beside each thing SeelkaArt made
- New sounds for the Kobalos, the Shade, the discovery cards, the Table of Practice's reward chest and the torches ritual
For modpack makers
- settings.json:
firstJoin.giveGuidebookset to false stops giving the Guidebook on first join - The Modpack Maker's Tutorial has a Numen prices entry: how a price is found, which items get none, and how to write your own
- The datapacks guide covers the new price list and its files
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
