Changes
Repairs and improvements
- Fixed the default filter hiding every entry before any checks were scheduled.
- Removed repeated checks triggered by rebuilding list rows.
- Updated Minecraft, Yarn mappings, Fabric Loader/API, Loom, Gradle, and bundled proxy modules for 1.21.11. Netty proxy modules now match Minecraft's 4.2.7.Final libraries.
- Corrected the game's proxy injection descriptor and removed the duplicate fallback injection. The required hook now fails clearly if incompatible instead of silently skipping proxying.
- Removed JVM-wide SOCKS settings. Only remote Minecraft game connections are proxied; authentication, list downloads, and other applications retain their normal routes.
- Four independent feeds, concurrent requests, request deadlines, malformed-row handling, deduplication, and a fair mix of up to 600 addresses per refresh.
- At most 16 checks at once. Each check has a seven-second total deadline; closing or refreshing the screen cancels pending work and closes active test sockets.
- Checks complete a SOCKS5 tunnel to example.com:443 and a TLS handshake with certificate and hostname validation. The displayed latency is the full tunnel-check time, not Minecraft gameplay ping.
- Working results sort by measured latency, and the selected proxy is checked again before activation.
- No automatic direct fallback if an enabled proxy fails. Existing connections keep the endpoint captured when they started.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
