[1.0.4] - Initial Modrinth Release
This is the first official release of the InputEngine Spigot server plugin on Modrinth!
✨ Features
- Custom Event API: Added
PlayerKeyPressEventwhich developers can listen to in order to detect player key presses and releases. - Network Listener: Implemented a lightweight plugin messaging channel listener to safely receive and decode key actions from client mods.
- Seamless Integration: Fully compatible with Spigot and Paper servers. Players without the client mod will not be affected or disconnected.
🛠️ Developer Notes
Check the documentation to see how to easily add the dependency and start listening to player keybinds in your plugins.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
