Changes
[1.1.0] - Extended Input Update
This major update introduces a complete visual overhaul for cooldowns, alongside powerful new input detection methods and mouse interception.
⨠Features
- Cooldown HUD: Added a dynamic, on-screen visual representation for cooldowns sent by the server.
- HUD Configuration Screen: Players can now freely move their Cooldown HUD by using the
/inputengine hudcommand, safely storing the coordinates in a local config file. - Advanced Key States: Implemented double-tap detection and hold duration tracking for keys.
- Modifier Support: Added detection for Shift, Ctrl, and Alt modifiers when pressing registered keys.
- Mouse Interception: Intercepts native mouse scroll actions and extra buttons via NeoForge's
MouseHandler, sending them to the server seamlessly. - Input Block API: Support for the new server-sided API to freeze or block inputs from specific keys locally.
- GSON Integration: Implemented a lightweight client config system (
inputengine-client.json) using GSON.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
