Requires Keybindery 1.1.0 or newer, which is new, and MenuKit 6.0.0 or newer, below 7.0.0. Updating keeps your locks, your settings and your keys.
A new settings menu replaces the old settings screen. Click the gear at the right end of the toolbar above your inventory, or Inventory Plus's config button in Mod Menu. The menu fills the screen, with a tab for each feature down the left and Back to game above them. Each tab holds that feature's switch, its keys and its settings. Ctrl-click (Cmd on a Mac) any Inventory Plus button in your inventory to open its feature's tab.
The toolbar above your inventory now reads Edit cycle slots, Lock edit, Sort, Move Matching out, Move Matching in, then the gear. Restock and Auto Tool Switch each have a button down the right side that turns them on and off.
Reach is a new tab where you choose which slots each action may touch. Sort, Restock, Move Matching in and out, Auto Tool Switch and the cyclers each have a list there, and so do vanilla's own moves, such as shift-clicking, dragging and dropping. Clear Hotbar under Sort, for example, and sorting leaves your hotbar alone.
Locks now come in groups. Click the lock button to pick a group, then press L over a slot or an item to lock it with that group. Slot lock and Exact item are there from the start. On the Lock groups tab you can make your own, each with its own colour, locking slots, a type of item, or one exact item. What each group stops is set in Reach.
A locked slot now stops more than sorting and quick-moves. Number-key and offhand swaps, dragging items across it, dropping with Q or Ctrl+Q, double-click collecting and shift-clicking out all leave it alone too. Any of these can be turned back on in Reach.
Tooltips moved here from MenuKit and have their own tab. Tools show durability and mining speed, each enchantment gets a line saying what it does, and food shows what it restores. Hold Space to hide every tooltip, the pause menu's included. A tooltip taller than the screen scrolls with the mouse wheel, and one wider than the screen is kept on screen. Each of these is a checkbox on the Tooltips tab, where you can also move the hide key off Space.
Container locks stay on your computer, as before. On a server running Inventory Max, the new "Also keep container locks on the server" setting on the Lock groups tab shares the container locks you place from then on with the server, which enforces them for everyone. It is off by default.
Inventory Plus now installs on servers as well as clients. It still needs nothing on the server to work. On a server it only lets companion mods such as Inventory Max recognise what it does.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
