Changes
Item Frame Cache 2.0.2 β Minecraft 26.3
Fixes
- Fixed cached item frames sometimes remaining visible after being destroyed.
- Fixed ghost item frames appearing after breaking the block supporting them.
- Added support-block validation before rendering cached frames.
- Cached frames are now removed when their backing block disappears while the area is loaded.
- Long-distance item frame retention remains unaffected when chunks are not loaded.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 26.3
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5+
- Java 25
This is a bug-fix release focused on preventing stale or "ghost" item frames from remaining visible after they should no longer exist.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
