1.1.0
Compatibility
Changes
Everything in this release is about configuring the mod without opening a text editor. Search behaviour is unchanged, and config/invsearch.json from 1.0.0 is read as-is — no migration, no lost settings.
Added
- Mod Menu support. The Settings button next to Inventory Search in the mod list opens a full settings screen. Mod Menu stays optional — without it the mod behaves exactly as in 1.0.0.
- Every config key is now editable in game, on a scrolling screen grouped into sections: behaviour, search targets, appearance, dim colour, highlight colour, layout and keybinds.
- Dim and highlight colours are edited as red/green/blue sliders, so the screen cannot produce a colour the mod fails to parse. The file keeps readable hex.
- Keybinds can be rebound from the settings screen: click a keybind, then press any key or mouse button. Esc unbinds instead of closing the screen. Changes are written to options.txt and show up under Options → Controls.
- "Reset settings" restores every option and both keybinds to their defaults, behind a two-click confirmation that disarms if you click elsewhere.
- Mod icon.
Notes
- Requires no new dependencies. Mod Menu 20.x is the line that targets 26.2.
- Colours, bar width limits and the empty-slot dim factor were previously file-only; they are all on the screen now.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
