✨ ItemTag 4.0.0 - A complete recode
ItemTag 4.0.0 is a major update built around a complete plugin recode. It brings modern server support, a more flexible messaging system, and new actions for item-based abilities.
⚠️ Important - compatibility changes: ItemTag 4.0.0 requires Minecraft 1.21.4 or newer, Java 21 or newer, and ItemEdit 4.x.x. Spigot is no longer supported. Check these requirements before updating.

🎯 New actions
Three new actions expand what tagged items can do. Hold the item and use /itemtag actions add <action> <parameters> to add one; actions run when the item is used:
projectile <projectile> [speed] [imprecision] [repeat] [repeatdelay]- launch a projectile in the direction the player is looking. Example:/itemtag actions add projectile SNOWBALL 2 0.1 2 10launches a snowball, then repeats twice at 10-tick intervals.- Potion effect (
potion <type> <duration_ticks|infinite> <level> [ambient] [particles] [icon]) - apply a potion effect when the action is triggered. Example:/itemtag actions add potion speed 200 2gives Speed II for 200 ticks. throwtnt [speed] [imprecision] [fuseTicks] [repeat] [repeatdelay]- throw primed TNT. Example:/itemtag actions add throwtnt 2 0.1 60 1 10throws TNT with a 60-tick fuse, then repeats once after 10 ticks.
Optional parameters can be omitted; the action's defaults will be used. Repetition counts are additional launches after the first.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
