Changes
Ji-AFK Cinematic v2.3.1
A major compatibility and interaction update focused on controllers, custom music and persistent cinematics.
Added
- Added full controller and modded-input support, including Controlify and similar input providers.
- Added Vanilla, Mixed and Custom music modes, with support for local
.oggfiles and compatible resource packs. See the resource-pack compatibility guide. - Added an Unlimited option for cinematic cycles.
- Added independent shortcuts for settings, automatic AFK cinematics and manual cinematic activation.
Improved
- Chat can now remain visible and fully usable while the cinematic HUD stays hidden.
- Persistent mode now properly blocks movement, jumping, sneaking and sprinting until the cinematic ends.
- The configuration screen has been reorganized for better readability on smaller displays.
Fixed
- Fixed conflicts with Smooth F5, including unwanted smoothing between shots and incorrect camera restoration.
- Fixed controller activity not resetting the AFK timer.
- Fixed controller pause buttons not cancelling active cinematics.
- Improved compatibility across Minecraft 1.21–1.21.11 and 26.1–26.2.
This update is strongly recommended for all users.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
