Changes
Version 1.8.0
Fixes
- Modded Stack-Size Threshold Bug: Fixed depth-0 (raw material) thresholds being blown up to whatever an inflated max-stack-size mod set an item's stack size to (observed: 9,999). Thresholds are now clamped to a sane baseline.
- Search Bar Keybind Leak: Typing "E" (or other letter keys bound to vanilla keybinds) while searching the catalog no longer closes the GUI mid-type.
- Deposit-All Button Overlap: Fixed the Deposit All button overlapping other UI text in the Deposit tab.
- Mojibake Tooltip Text: Removed unicode symbols from tooltip/catalog text that rendered as garbled characters on some versions.
New Features
- Shared Team Catalogs:
/journeymode team create|join|leave|info|kick|transfer. Teams pool both deposits and unlocks; scoped per-world/per-server. Leaving a team snapshots its unlocks into your personal catalog. - Real-Time Config Sync: Blacklist and threshold rules are pushed to clients on join and after
/journeymode reloadconfig, so multiplayer clients always see the server's actual rules. - Integration & Customization API:
blacklist.jsonandcustom_thresholds.jsonnow support exact item IDs, item tags (#c:ingots), and regex/wildcard patterns (gtceu:.*_circuit). Datapack-driven threshold packs and a developer API (ThresholdProvider,NormalizationRule) for other mods to hook into. /journeymode all [count] confirm: Set a global fallback threshold for every item at once./journeymode threshold <item|hand> <count>: Fix an individual item's threshold on the fly, including ahandvariant for exact potion/enchanted-book sub-types./journeymode grant|revoke <player> <item|hand>: Admin-grant or revoke unlocks, works on offline players too./journeymode tooltips on|off: Per-player toggle for the new progress tooltips.- Rarity-Aware Thresholds: Recipe-less rare items (Nether Stars, Heart of the Sea, Echo Shards, etc.) now cost far less than common raw materials of the same stack size.
- Deposit All: One button deposits every already-researchable item in your main inventory (shift-click to include your hotbar too).
- Progress Tooltips: See "37/64 researched" or "Unlocked" directly on item tooltips.
- Catalog Statistics: New Stats tab - total unlocked/researchable, % complete, per-mod breakdown, most-recent unlock.
- Visual Polish: An on-screen message when you cross an unlock threshold.
Applied universally across all 9 supported loader/version configurations (Forge 1.12.2/1.16.5/1.19.2/1.20.1, Fabric 1.16.5/1.19.2/1.20.1/1.21.1, NeoForge 1.21.1).
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
