0.101.0 CHANGELOG
This version is a complete rewrite from the ground up! There are some slight differences and places where we are lacking, but other new features should fill the void.
THIS VERSION IS NOT A DROP IN REPLACEMENT WITH OLDER VERSIONS. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DATA IF YOU UPDATE
Notable Changes:
- 1.21.1 Support!
- JEI Support!
- 33 Dinos!
- Reworked textures, models, animations
- New GUIs
- New machine logic and an optional power requirement
- Reworked the animation system to allow concurrent animations
- Fancy code to make the tails flow when turning -Adjusted entities to (hopefully) not spin, regardless of size
Steps back:
- No sounds (we are hard at work implementing this system, and should be here the next update)
- Pteranodon missing (We made the decision to not bring the Pteranodon over, moving him to his own update with several other avian creatures for a themed update in the future)
- Jeep missing (As the systems weren't in place, we removed the Jeep, which will be returning in the locomotive update, including more than just the jeep)
From here on out, updates should be more often, not as impactful, and be more feature rich. Ownership and development of the mod has had some drastic changes, constituting a split with a former owner who attempted to sabotage the mod. We are still considering supporting fabric for at least one of the current versions, but have not made the decision one way or another. We are also considering what versions we will be supporting in the future.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
