Changes
1.2.0 Not every spike is a spike
Sometimes it builds, and builds, and then nothing comes. That's not a bug.
Added
- Spike variety. Spikes no longer all have the same shape:
- Standard the original build-up, corruption, and hunt.
- No entity the corruption builds in full and then fades away. Nothing arrives.
- Instant no build-up at all. Everything lands at once.
- False alarms brief faint flickers between spikes. No entity, no phase, just a moment where you're not sure what you saw.
- Server config for spike-type weights (
standardWeight,noEntityWeight, instantWeight), the no-entity fade length, and false alarm frequency. Set a weight to 0 to disable that type entirely.
Notes
- Server settings live in
<world>/serverconfig/horrormod-server.toml. - All existing accessibility toggles apply to the new spike types too.
- Safe update from 1.1.1. Existing worlds unaffected.
- Requires Forge 1.20.1 and GeckoLib 4.8.3.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
