Krylix 1.4.0 for Minecraft 26.3
Rebuilt for Minecraft 26.3 on a shared codebase: Fabric and NeoForge now run the same code and behave the same.
Heads-up: new default keys. Mob panel is now J (was L), leaderboard is U (was O). L also opened Advancements, and in 26.3 O opens the Friends overlay first. Keys you rebound yourself are kept.
New
- Per-player mob kills: the mob panel and the Mob Kills tab count your own kills. Old worlds are migrated.
- Knock-off kills count: push someone off a cliff, into lava or the void and the kill is yours.
- Pets fight for their owner: a tamed wolf's kill goes to you, shown with the wolf's spawn egg.
- Icons for every kind of death: falls, lava, freezing, the void, sonic booms, anvils and more.
- Health bar styles: Hearts, Blocks, ASCII, Dots or Number only.
- Faces for newer mobs: Creaking, Parched, Illusioner, Sulfur Cube, Silverfish, Endermite.
- Mob faces can be restyled or added with a resource pack, so modded mobs can get faces without code.
- Addon API for other mods: kill credit, kill events, statistics, feed rows, mob faces, health numbers.
Improved
- Health plates follow all of the game's nametag rules: nothing hidden in PvP is revealed.
- The kill feed stays below potion effect icons, fades smoothly and cuts very long names.
- The leaderboard loads when you open it (far less network traffic), fits small windows and pages with the arrow keys.
- Players without Krylix can join a Krylix server.
Fixed
- Fabric: health plates never appeared over players.
- NeoForge: the plate was drawn twice over players with a scoreboard score.
- "Damage Dealt" on the death recap is now the same on both loaders (health the killer actually lost).
- Very long mob names or death messages could disconnect players.
- Several mob faces were blank or wrong: Ghast, Guardian, Elder Guardian, Shulker, Ender Dragon, Magma Cube, Phantom, Breeze.
- Machines acting as players (deployers, mob grinders) no longer get statistics.
- Death recap badges are translated into all 13 languages.
Requires: Minecraft 26.3, Cloth Config 26.3.158+. Fabric: Fabric Loader 0.19.5+ and Fabric API 0.161+. NeoForge: 26.3.0.33-beta+. Mod Menu is optional on Fabric. Install on the server and on every client.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
