Changes
Kuruma - Example Car Pack 1.4.0
Requires Kuruma 1.7.0 or later (Forge 1.20.1 / NeoForge 1.21.1, same jar)
📘 Pack Creation Guide, rewritten
- Every page is rebuilt around the minimum steps you need, so you can get a car driving before reading the details.
- New chapters cover features added in Kuruma 1.7.0:
- Body aero parts: drawn from
part_<id>objects in your car model, so wings and bumpers line up with no positioning. - Exhaust parts that change the exhaust note.
- Material roles: give part of one object a role such as
light_tailorglass. default_partsfor parts a car is fitted with from the start.- Downforce keys:
front_downforce_area/rear_downforce_area.
- Body aero parts: drawn from
- The screenshots of the body and the lights are now annotated.
- The full spec list (Appendix A) now includes
drag_area, the downforce keys andhandbrake_press.
🔧 Sample car
- Drag is now written as
drag_area(Cd × frontal area). It drives exactly as before. - If your own pack still uses the old
dragkey, Kuruma converts it for you, butdrag_areais now the recommended key.
⚠️ Compatibility
- Needs Kuruma 1.7.0, which reads the new keys.
Kuruma - Example Car Pack 1.4.0
light_tailやglassなどにできます。
drag_area、ダウンフォース、handbrake_pressを足しました。
drag_area(Cd × 前面投影面積)で書くようにしました。
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
