Changes
!lag 3.4.4
Two safe client improvements for Minecraft 26.3 (no gameplay-logic changes).
Performance
While chat, container screens, the death screen, or the in-game escape menu are open in-world, rain/snow rendering is paused. Particle spawn is also suppressed on those overlays (death and escape menus now match the adaptive-render hold screens from 3.4.3). The Weather effects toggle still applies when those screens are closed.
Stability
Memory cleanup can run on the death screen and in-game escape menu in multiplayer (world still simulating) when heap use is high, clearing visibility and entity render caches without touching active gameplay.
Notes
Built and unit-tested on Java 25; mixin targets verified for MC 26.3. Uploaded as beta (title-screen OpenGL smoke still blocked on the build VM, same as 3.4.3).
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
