Laminar Engine - Version 1.2.6 Changelog
Project Hive (Asynchronous AI Pathfinding)
- Expanded Melee Mob Acceleration: Extended the hardware-accelerated pathfinding engine to support 5 additional hostile and neutral melee mob types:
- Wither Skeletons
- Piglins
- Hoglins
- Endermites
- Silverfish These mobs now navigate smoothly in dense packs, leveraging parallel iGPU calculations to entirely bypass CPU pathfinding overhead.
Project Echo (3D Sound Occlusion)
- Scaled Occlusion Capacity: increases the maximum audio capacity that can be handled for occlusion to 256. This resolves instances where ambient sound channels bypassed physical occlusion calculations in dense environments (such as jungles or heavy forests), with negligible VRAM utilization.
Project Aura (Raymarching Line-of-Sight)
- Expanded Visibility Tracking: Increased the concurrent Raymarching Line-of-Sight tracking capacity to 1,024 entities. This ensures consistent visibility and targeting calculations without clipping during dense entity clusters or high-performance mob farm operations.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
