Changes
v1.0.0 — Initial Release
The first release of DeathLocator! 🎉
Added
- Chat message on death showing:
- Clickable, copy-to-clipboard coordinates.
- The biome you died in.
- The dimension you died in (Overworld / Nether / End).
- Persistent on-screen HUD tracker (bottom-right) showing the same information.
- Stored on your player data, so it survives logging out, reconnecting, and server restarts.
- Automatically clears once you leave the spot and make your way back to it.
- X key to toggle the HUD tracker on/off (rebindable).
- Red/yellow color coding throughout for quick readability.
Requirements
- Minecraft 26.2
- Fabric Loader 0.19.3+
- Fabric API
- Java 25+
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
