Changes
I rewrote the whole mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge. If you're still on Forge 1.20.1, stay on 1.7.0.
- Herobrine is now a three-phase fight (the Stalker, the Builder, Unbound) with 18 abilities. Each one has its own animation and a tell you can learn to read.
- Parrying his sword, finding the real mirror image, dodging the meteor dive and breaking the void pull all stagger him, and he takes 50% more damage while he's down.
- The ritual is something you defend now. Keep four soul braziers lit through mob waves, a lightning storm and a rift opening in the sky.
- You'll see him watching from a distance before you ever summon him. The first sighting leaves a journal that explains the ritual.
- Dying doesn't end the fight. He waits where it ended, and if you respawn nearby he comes for you.
- The sword, pickaxe and crown all work differently: sword combos and parries, a pickaxe you throw, a crown that keeps mobs off you. Every player who fought gets their own set.
- He scales with the number of players and gets stronger each time he's beaten in the same world.
- Lava, explosions and fall damage don't hurt him anymore, and a hit cap stops one-shot builds.
- Everything he conjures cleans itself up.
- The Epic Fight integration from 1.7.0 is gone, and so is the bedrock drop.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
