- Life crystals spawn in open space underground.
- Consuming a life crystal grants a heart, up to 10.
- Life fruits spawn in lush caves.
- Consuming a life fruit grants half a heart, up to 5.
- Life fruits cannot be used until 10 life crystals have been used.
