Changes
Limitless Chat 1.1.0 for MC 1.20.1 Fabric + Forge
⚙️ New Features
- Added a Cloth Config menu accessible via Mod Menu (Fabric), the Mods list (Forge), or
/limitless config. - You can now disable the book pop-ups entirely or adjust the character threshold (from 20 to 32,500) before messages collapse.
- Links, commands, and hover tooltips are now preserved and fully clickable inside the [Read More] book view.
- Messages sent to vanilla servers split at spaces instead of cutting words in half.
- Commands like
/tell <player>,/w,/msg,/me,/do, and/trynow auto-split with the target player name preserved on every chunk. Custom commands can be added in config. - Client preferences now save to
limitless-client.json, leavinglimitless.tomlstrictly for server limits. Added an "Open Server Config" button inside the config menu.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed color codes and text styles getting stripped when long chat messages opened in book view.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
