LiveBuddy Changelog
v0.2.0 - Alpha (2026-04-23)
New Features
New task: Combat
- Added a combat task that automatically detects, engages, and attacks hostile mobs.
Multiplayer support
- Buddies can now remember their owner.
- A Buddy can only be operated by its owner once ownership is assigned.
- Ownership is now managed internally using UUIDs, and this protection is applied across the whole system:
- Follow mode now follows the registered owner only.
- Added server admin management commands:
/lb delete <name|all>for force-deleting Buddies as an OP/admin command./lb owner <name> <userid>for reassigning a Buddy's owner as an OP/admin command.
Improvements and Other Changes
- Reviewed and refined the specifications of several tasks and adjusted their implementation accordingly.
- Improved support for custom skin filenames so they work more safely with uppercase letters and special characters.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
