Beta 1.9.6
Release date: 2026-08-30
Stage: Beta
Summary: Final little visual cleanup before I start poking at the much scarier 1.10 work.
Added
- The new Thread Module artwork supplied for isolated, single-connection and full-line states.
Changed
- Rack exterior pieces now share one continuous machine-side texture instead of each looking like its own tiny tile.
- Thread Modules use the new artwork without changing how their connections work.
Fixed
- Cleaned up the Rack shell UVs so the outside looks like one machine again.
- Updated the 3D Thread item model along with its placed-block textures.
Removed
- Removed the repeated little texture-island look from the Rack exterior.
Known Issues
- Still beta. Visual bugs, logic bugs and weird edge cases are probably still hiding somewhere.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
