Lon1.3
Compatibility
Changes
🎉 New Features:
Smart Auto Pregen: Lon now intelligently pre-generates chunks in the player's view direction as you move. Default is ON. Toggle with /lon autopregen on/off.
Network Ping: /lon ping displays your connection latency in milliseconds with color-coded feedback.
Entity Cleanup: /lon entities clear safely removes all dropped items (except XP orbs) to quickly reduce lag.
Memory Pressure Warning: HUD memory line now changes color dynamically:
🟢 Green: safe (<60%)
🟡 Yellow: warning (60-80%)
🔴 Red: high pressure (80-90%)
🔴⚡ Flashing Red: critical (>90%)
âš¡ Improvements:
Entity overload warning now includes a direct suggestion to use /lon entities clear.
HUD automatically hides when the F3 debug screen is open, preventing overlap.
🔧 Technical Changes:
Auto pregen uses player's view cone (FOV 120°) to generate only visible chunks, saving CPU and memory.
Memory color logic fully client-side, zero server impact.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
