Finally some armor update!

New armor items have been added and some mechanics have been reworked, like the ground detonation on Comet Spear and Darkin Blade, and the new interactions with Leviathan Axe and Mjolnir.

NOTE: AttributeFix is now recommended to implement accurate values for boss health, armor values, etc.

  • “Obliterate” attack may also summon Remnants when targets are undead and die to it. This includes the ability on Nightfall and the smash attacks on Returning Knight and Fallen Icon
  • Fixed up some old code/optimized Withered Blocks
  • Added missing translations for custom potion arrows/tipped arrows
  • Hydrangea and Oleander turns into any flower added, even from other mods
  • Calculated Fall effect is triggered and removed as soon as the player hits the ground and would calculate the fall damage (meaning nothing happens in creative mode), regardless of distance fallen. Upon being triggered, the effect vanishes and an explosion follows based on the effect level (read Comet Spear and Darkin Blade changes for further info)
  • Comet Spear and Darkin Blade “Skyfall” and “Sword Slam” attacks have been changed slightly: + It will no longer gain stats from the item stack (which caused weird interactions with the items constantly refreshing), rather it will detonate as soon as the Calculated Fall effect is triggered
    • Base power of the abilities in the config has changed type from float to int, meaning there are new lines with the same name (the right ones does not have commas, i.e 12.0 is outdated and 12 is new and the right one)
    • The effects, such as healing, damage or effects are applied based on the held ultra heavy weapon on landing (excluding items with the custom ability like Comet Spear). It is your main hands that hold the weapons to smash the ground, after all. This means that the damage, area expansion and knock up is different between weapons as well.
  • The unique effects of ultra heavy weapons when landing with Calculated Fall are stated here:
    • Darkin Blade: Heals on landing (unchanged)
    • Nightfall: Chance to summon Remnants
    • Heap of Raw Iron (Guts’ Sword): Applies Wither 2 to all targets hit
    • Featherlight: Applies Slowness 3 and Blight 5 to all targets hit
  • Leviathan Axe projectile now deals damage based on sharpness and efficiency level instead of the generic damage gained, which was max 2.5 before the change
  • Mjolnir riptide/flight ability scales off of damage enchant level (i.e sharpness, smite level etc.)
  • Dragonslayer Swordspear cooldown reduction on lightning strike/storm stomp ability scales off of damage enchant level (i.e sharpness, smite, etc.), and the reduction has been increased from 10enchant to 20damage enchant
  • Made Shadow Assassin Scythe give the new effect “Shadow Step” if not on cooldown post hit which grants movement speed and damage for the scythe, instead of ticking the item on nbt then going on cooldown
  • Changed Soul Ingot texture slightly
  • Re-added Life Leach effect, if the target of the wielder of the effect has a damage over time effect such as Wither or Poison, the wielder will heal continuously
  • Fixed a bug where Blunderbuss would not display damage on tooltip
  • Added the Holy Moonlight Pillar, an invisible entity that will after a short delay explode, summon particles and despawn
  • Reworked the Holy Moonlight Greatsword to not tick on the item, rather summon Holy Moonlight Pillars like Genesis Fracture, meaning that hitboxes of the area can be shown by using the debug tool. The charge added post hit has also been increased
  • The amount of Holy Moonlight Greatsword pillars/ruptures can be changed in the config
  • Having the Lunar Herald effect removes the need for charge to use the ability on Holy Moonlight Greatsword and reduces the cooldown based on the amplifier
  • Renamed holy_moonlight_ability_charge_added_post_hit to holy_moonlight_greatsword_charge_added_post_hit in the config and fixed a bug where changing this value did nothing, also increased the value from 1 to 3
  • Added holy_moonlight_sword_charge_added_post_hit to the config and reduced the value from 3 to 1
  • Reworked Holy Moonlight Sword, now gains bonus damage up to 2 (can be changed in config) based on the amount of charge the weapon has, but the charge added post hit has been reduced. Base damage has also been nerfed from 8 -> 7
  • Increased the damage during the night of Draugr from 10 to 11
  • Mjolnir now summons Warmup Lightning entities instead of ticking on the item, meaning the hitboxes of where the lightning will strike will be shown when using the debug tool
  • Bluemoon Greatsword now also has the charge function like Holy Moonlight Greatsword. When at 100%, you may fire a moonlight projectile
  • Bluemoon Shortsword works just like Moonlight Shortsword, only with a 6 second (120 ticks) long cooldown
  • Slightly changed Bluemoon and Moonlight greatswords/shortswords textures, also included texture change for Bluemoon Greatsword when charged (also added in 2d texture pack)
  • Fixed an animation issue with Whirligig Sawblade (3d model) and sound issue on ability
  • Reworked the particle and networking of the mod. Now some bosses also have unique particles on the death explosion
  • Withered Wabbajack has a chance to summon any thousands of any particle registered in the game
  • Withered Wabbajack has a chance to curse the user with the Elder Guardian effect (only for 10 seconds)
  • Fixed issues with the Fear effect, now properly redirects the affected mob and removes its current target
  • Removed the config option to switch Moonlight Shortsword ability to right click
  • Added a new ability to Crown and Helm of Chaos, namely Hex of Reversal. When not on cooldown, flip all harmful status effects with 3rd of the duration and half the amplifier. If no opposite is found, then regeneration is applied instead and all harmful effects are removed
  • Added a new ability to Arkenplate, namely Aftershock. Upon taking damage while under 50% health and while the item is not on cooldown, trigger an explosion that knocks away nearby enemies with knockback strength based on the Unbreaking level of the chestplate
  • Added a new armor item, namely the Infused Arkenplate. Crafted with the soul of the Night Prowler in a smithing table with the Arkenplate enhances it, giving it the Mirror ability that when under 1/3rd HP will make all projectiles bounce off the user, causing no harm. The Aftershock ability now also affects targets hit with Weakness 2
  • Demonite Chunk can now also be used to summon The Decaying King when right clicking with it on the Blackstone Pedestal
  • Added the new Hallowheart chestplate, an armor item of the Withered Demon Heart. When equipped, gain immunity to Wither under 50% health. Press the ability keybind to give yourself Life Leach, and when taking damage while having Life Leach, apply Wither to the attacker
  • Added Infused Hallowheart, made by combining the Hallowheart with the Day Stalker soul. Gain permanent Fire Resistance and when applying Wither when taking damage while having Life Leach, also set the attacker on fire. Gain Regeneration while on fire and Strength with amplifier based on missing health
  • Changed the recipe for Arkenplate
  • Withered Demons will not attack players with the Hallowheart equipped. Hitting it will only aggro it for a short time
  • Added advancements for gaining Arkenplate and Halloheart
  • Fixed a bug regarding displacement of the Arkenplate armor with Better Combat
  • Turned Kraken Slayer into a crossbow. This means future Kraken Slayers crafted will be crossbows, old Kraken Slayer bows will not disappear and will remain the same. To enable Kraken Slayer Bow recipe, change the boolean in the config
  • Added AttributeFix as a dependency, now all values set in the config will be accurate and not capped by minecraft
  • Bosses should now be affected by RPGDifficulty’s scaling
  • Added new Better Combat attacks to Draupnir Spear
  • Added a new part to Draupnir Spear’s ability. If crouching and pressing “use ability” button, summon 8 Draupnir Spears from the sky around you
  • Boss drops are now generated as a json loot table file and can be changed to fit however you like
  • Leviathan Axe and Mjolnir now does half damage and triggers effects when colliding on the way back
  • Returning ability (on Leviathan Axe and Mjolnir) has been changed to Soulbound. When thrown, you have to manually call back the weapon after it lands by pressing a keybind (N by default) or pick it up yourself (it will still return after 3 seconds with no landing)
  • Fixed a bug causing projectiles to phase through entities at close range (regarding Cannonball, Moonlight Arrows and Kraken Slayer Arrows)
  • Bleed effect now does not damage mobs in the c:skeletons tag
