Changes
⚡ MekaLights 1.1.8 ⚡ Energy Rebalance
New consumption model
- Maximum consumption raised to 24 kFE/t (sphere, at max range and intensity).
- Flat base cost per light (~0.5 kFE/t): tiny lights are no longer free (anti-spam).
- Per-shape multiplier — you pay for what you light up:
- Disc — 7.7 kFE/t
- Cone — 10.1 kFE/t
- Cylinder — 12.5 kFE/t
- Dome — 14.9 kFE/t
- Sphere — 24.5 kFE/t
- Energy upgrades cut consumption by up to −16% (8 × 2%).
Cable lines now matter
- Basic: discs and small areas.
- Advanced: full spheres for your base.
- Elite / Ultimate: setups with dozens or hundreds of lights.
Recent improvements included
- Anti-flicker system: a light without enough power shuts off cleanly (no flickering, no lag) and warns in red ⚠ Needs X/t in the GUI and in Jade.
- Polished GUI: standard Minecraft inventory slots, centered debug button, no stray ghost icons.
⚠️ Note: this rebalance increases the consumption of already-placed lights (especially spheres). Make sure your networks still have enough power.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
