Changes
Beta 3 brings visual polish, tooltip improvements, and a handful of multiplayer fixes that were blocking a clean 1.0 launch.
Added
- Prismatic Web enchantment now uses a fully animated glyph texture.
- The mod icon has been updated to a custom astrolabe glyph.
- Vanilla enchantments now display flavor descriptions in their tooltips, matching the style of Meridian's own enchantments.
- Loot drops that roll enchantments (mob equipment, chests, fishing) now go through Meridian's enchanting system, with proper max-level caps applied.
- A new
meridian:mob_equipmenttag lets datapack and modpack authors control which enchantments can appear on mob-worn gear.
Fixed
- On dedicated servers, enchanting stats now correctly sync to clients on join — previously the server's stat registry was never sent, causing the enchanting table to behave as if no stats existed.
- The enchantment browser no longer briefly shows vanilla placeholder data while waiting for the server sync to arrive.

Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
