Occlusion culling
Frames per second against Minecraft's own renderer, 1920x1080 on an RX 9070 XT:
| Render distance | 1.0.0 | 1.1.0 |
|---|---|---|
| 32 | 1.9x | 3.1x |
| 48 | 3.0x | 3.7x |
| 64 | 4.2x | 5.3x |
Part of that is the fix and part is a corrected baseline. The old numbers compared against a slightly slower measurement of Minecraft than they should have.
Settings
- Occlusion Culling: Auto / On / Off. Auto turns it on past the distance where it usually helps, and you can move that distance. It helps on some systems and hurts on others, so it is worth trying both.
- Terrain Rendering is now the first row and reads Enabled or Disabled.
- Custom values are typed in a box next to each slider instead of opening another screen.
- Reset Meshelium Settings button.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
