Changes
- New players see a one-time chat hint on their first join pointing to
/menuand the new/economycommand list./economyshows every player command this server has enabled, and each one can be clicked to run or type it. Operators also get/eco help, a short clickable setup guide. Turn the join hint off withjoin_hint_enabled = false /sell handsells the item you are holding to the server shop, and/sell allshows everything in your inventory the shop would buy with the total, plus a button to confirm. The shop entry paying the most is used, and dynamic prices apply exactly as in the shop screen. Turn it off withsell_command_enabled = false(it is also off whenevershop_command_enabledis off)- Fresh installs now get four ready-to-use shop categories (Blocks, Farming, Ores and Minerals, Mob Drops) instead of a single two-item example. Everything players can farm is sold back on dynamic pricing. Existing servers keep their shops unchanged
- Economy screens now show messages as pop-ups at the top of the screen. A refused purchase, order, or sale ("Insufficient Coins...") used to go only to chat, which is hidden while a screen is open; it now appears on screen, including over the Create Order window
- The balance shown in the Shop, Market, Orders, Banker, and
/menuscreens now updates live when your money changes (a sale, a payment you receive, an admin change) without reopening the screen - The Market and Orders boards have a sort button: Newest, Cheapest, Priciest, or A-Z
- Money items are now protected against duplication: every note carries a serial number, and the server refuses to redeem more notes of a serial than it issued, or a note whose value was altered. Notes issued before this update still work while
money_item_accept_legacy = true(the default); set it tofalseonce players have redeemed their old notes. The Banker deposits valid notes and leaves refused ones in your inventory with an explanation. Notes from different withdrawals no longer stack together - Security: only the Money item itself counts as money now. Before, the Banker would deposit any item that happened to carry a
valuein its data, which a farmable item, a shop variant, or a loot table could produce as free cash; such items are now ignored. The Banker also only serves a player standing at it with its screen open, one deposit or withdrawal per visit, so a crafted request cannot turn a balance into notes from anywhere; a note issued by a withdrawal that fails to reach your inventory is logged rather than silently lost. A money item record that fails to load now blocks issuing and redeeming instead of being silently overwritten, and a failed save cancels the redemption instead of crediting it - Screen text and most command messages can now be translated: copy
assets/migueleconomy/lang/en_us.jsoninto a resource pack as your language file and translate it. Anything not translated stays in English, as do some result messages that still come straight from the server /transactionsno longer re-reads every log file on each page: the history is indexed in memory, so paging stays fast on busy, long-running servers- Fixed FTB Chunks claim and force-load actions being blocked by MiguelEconomy's optional claim listener, including when claim billing is disabled
- Updating requires the new version on both the server and every client
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
