Version 3.15 — Companion Combat, Magic & Stability Update
Stamina
- Sprinting and melee stamina costs are now configurable.
- Stamina can be disabled entirely.
Magic Companions
- Necromancer and Wizard summons now choose safer hostile targets, assist their owner, and do not pursue targets through walls.
- Mages continue using their normal spellcasting logic when Epic Fight is installed.
Epic Fight Compatibility
- Added optional Epic Fight support for companion melee combat, movement, and animations.
- Bundled daggers, hammers, clubs, spears, quarterstaffs, and glaives use appropriate Epic Fight movesets.
- Fixed companions freezing, failing to chase, using the wrong moveset, or getting stuck after weapon changes.
- Improved melee reach and attack timing.
- Archers, crossbow users, mages, and firearm specialists retain their native ranged or spell behavior.
TacZ Compatibility
- Gun-wielding companions properly use firearms instead of fist-fighting.
- Improved TacZ gun poses alongside Epic Fight.
- Equipped guns no longer disable normal melee behavior when stored only in companion inventory.
Companion Stability
- Fixed repeated automatic weapon swapping and animation jitter.
- Improved structure companion spawning to prevent duplicate residents and reduce exploration/pregeneration lag.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
