MogDop's Mod v0.1.1 — Release Notes
Version 0.1.1 is a major update focused on native WorldEdit API integration, expanded building commands, new selection modes, per-player data persistence, and complete overhauls of the user interface and HUD overlays.
Official WorldEdit API Integration
- Native WorldEdit Backend: Fully integrated the official WorldEdit Fabric Java API (
com.sk89q.worldedit). - Transactional EditSessions: All building operations now execute directly through WorldEdit's
EditSessionandLocalSession. - Shared History Buffer: All actions performed through the mod's GUIs or commands are synchronized with WorldEdit's native undo/redo history stack (fully compatible with
/undoand/redochat commands).
New Building Commands & Tools
- Walls (
//walls <block>): Builds walls around the perimeter of the selected region. - Outline (
//outline <block>): Generates a hollow 3D bounding box / faces shell around the selection. - Stack (
//stack <count> [direction]): Duplicates selected regions in the facing direction or specified axis (up,down,north,south,east,west). - Drain (
//drain <radius>): Instantly drains liquids (water/lava) within a specified radius. - Clear Selection: One-click action to reset active selection points.
WorldEdit Selection Modes (J Key)
- Selection Mode Wheel (
SelectionModeScreen): PressJto open an interactive wheel to switch selection modes. - Official WorldEdit Selection Modes:
- Cuboid: Standard 2-point box selection (
pos1&pos2). - Poly (2D Polygonal): Multi-point 2D polygon with vertical Y extrusion.
- Convex Hull (3D): Multi-point 3D convex wireframe bounds defined by vertex points.
- Cuboid: Standard 2-point box selection (
- Real-time 3D World Rendering: Render engine dynamically draws 3D wireframe models for 2D extruded polygon walls and 3D convex hull wireframe meshes in world space.
- Selection Logic Fix: Setting Pos 1 (left-click) no longer resets Pos 2 in Cuboid mode.
Radial Quick Action Bar (H Key) & 3D Cursor
- 360-Degree Radial Layout: Redesigned into a circular layout with 9 core actions (
//set,//replace,Undo,Redo,Walls,Outline,Stack,Drain,Clear Selection). - Symmetrical Y-Axis Alignment: Card pairs are mathematically mirrored across the vertical axis for pixel-perfect layout symmetry.
- Animated 3D Cube Cursor: Custom 3D isometric neon cube cursor glides smoothly across cards using Ease-In-Out motion, automatically magnetizing back to the screen center when idle.
Interactive Welcome Guide (/md guide)
- First-World Join Popup (
WelcomeScreen): A 7-page interactive welcome guide that opens automatically upon entering a world for the first time. - Complete Walkthrough: Explains mod controls, hotkeys (
H,J,Z,~), tools, and commands. - On-Demand Access: Re-open the guide anytime via
/md guideor through the button in/md settings.
Block Selector & Per-Player History
- Per-Player Persistent Block History: Selected blocks are now saved individually per player UUID in
config/mogdops-mod-block-history.jsonand persist across game restarts. - Clear / Air Button: Added a one-click button in the block selector palette to fill selections with
minecraft:air. - Context-Aware Palette: The block selector dynamically adapts its title and action buttons when opened from
//set,//walls, or//outline.
UI, HUD & Visual Polish
- Full-Screen Spawner Menu (
~Key): OverhauledSpawnerScreento fill the entire screen, featuring a 16:9 banner header on the main tab. - Transparent Glassmorphism Theme: Translucent dark UI surfaces allow the Minecraft world to remain clearly visible behind screens.
- Top-Center WorldEdit Notifications: All WorldEdit action results and error messages are removed from chat and rendered as glassmorphic top-center screen banners (
y = 15). - Selection Render Fix: Corrected line vertex format (
VertexFormats.LINES) and constrained selection box visibility strictly to when holding the Selection Axe in hand.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
