Momentum 1.0.0-beta.2 — Minecraft 26.3 (Fabric)
Momentum for Automobility: Unofficial Port now follows its own version line, independent of the original project's numbering. Existing mod IDs, settings and saved bindings are retained.
- Stabilizes the displayed speed number in compact and legacy dashboards: small fluctuations around a rounding boundary no longer immediately switch the number back and forth, for example 55/56 while cruising.
- Uses a small display-only deadband and three consecutive tick samples for adjacent-number changes. Larger changes and stopping update immediately. The number remains based on actual vehicle speed, not the cruise target.
- Adds the localized compact-dashboard reminder: "Reverse safety — Release the brake, then press again to reverse."
- Reads the matching Automobility core's shared brake/guard state. The hint is for the stopped driver waiting for brake release; it is hidden for passengers, moving cars, F1-hidden HUDs and open menus.
- Includes the reverse-release hint option, translated text in all 17 shipped languages and bounded, wrapping layout.
Both HUD features are read-only: cruise control, physics, controls, fuel, battery accounting and regeneration are unchanged. This is not an energy meter or external-engine failure diagnosis.
Requires matching Automobility 1.0.0-beta.1 or newer for Minecraft 26.3, Java 25 and compatible Fabric API. The older Automobility .36 core is not sufficient. Configuration-menu/controller integrations remain optional.
Automated regression checks passed; the tester reported the speed display and previously requested F1/menu suppression and disable–Save–restart checks satisfactory. Controller and universal multiplayer acceptance, P&P/Powerworks 26.3 integration and energy telemetry are not qualified by this release.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
