More Vanilla Enchantments Levels (MVEL)

More Vanilla Enchantments Levels is a lightweight mod that increases the maximum levels of vanilla enchantments, using Mixins to modify base game behavior. No new enchantments are added — this mod only extends how far the existing ones can go.
While it works perfectly on its own, it is specifically designed and balanced to be played alongside Progressive Time Difficulty (PTD). In modpacks with scaling difficulty, vanilla enchantments often become obsolete against high-level mobs. MVEL solves this by allowing your gear to scale in power alongside the threats you face.
Server-Side Friendly: This mod can be installed on the server, and players can join with a vanilla client.
Features
• Higher Enchantment Caps: Sharpness, Protection, and Power scale up to level 10 — essential to counter mobs with heavily scaled damage and health.
• Improved Economy: Looting and Fortune scale to level 7, rewarding high-risk gameplay with better drops.
• Extended Durability: Unbreaking now goes up to level 12.
• Better Mobility: Depth Strider scales to level 8 for superior underwater movement.
• Enchanted Books Included: Every new level of every affected enchantment is available as an enchanted book in the Ingredients creative tab.
• Enchanting Table Support: Beyond simply raising the level cap, MVEL also rebalances the enchanting table's cost formulas for the new levels. Extended levels scale in rarity with each step: the first level above vanilla's original cap is uncommon but obtainable at max enchanting power, while higher levels become progressively rarer — keeping the anvil as the reliable path to the very top level of any enchantment.
• High Compatibility & Stability: Built with a dual Mixin strategy targeting
both the base Enchantment class and its vanilla subclasses, ensuring maximum
compatibility with other mods that also touch enchantment behavior.
