Changes
Changelog 1.6.0
New Features
- Teleportation of mobs and other players: Any entity (mobs, animals, other players) entering an active portal is teleported to the destination. The portal now works for everyone, not just the owner. This works both on the server and in single-player.
- Preview spark visible to other players: When a player opens the point selection screen and a spark appears, other players nearby (64 blocks) also see it. The spark disappears when the screen is closed or when teleported.
Technical Changes
- PendingTeleportManager: Added the
teleportNearbyEntities()method — scans the portal's AABB zones and teleports all entities other than the owner through the portal. Tracking of already teleported entities is now possible viaMap<UUID, Set<UUID>> teleportedEntities. - MRPortalNetworking: AddedPREVIEW_SPARK_S2C,PREVIEW_SPARK_REMOVE_S2C,SCREEN_CLOSED_C2Spackages. Server-side tracking of active sparks viaactivePreviewSparks/activePreviewDimensions.broadcastPreviewSpark()andremovePreviewSpark()methods. - ClientPortalEffectManager: Added
remoteSparksmap for displaying sparks from other players.showRemoteSpark()andhideRemoteSpark()methods. Render and tick remote sparks. - MRPortalClientNetworking: PREVIEW_SPARK_S2C and PREVIEW_SPARK_REMOVE_S2C handlers.
sendScreenClosed()method. - WaypointScreen: When the screen closes, sends
SCREEN_CLOSED_C2Sto the server. - fabric.mod.json: updated source code link → https://github.com/sapexzzz/MR-portal

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
