NEI Resources — Beta: Material Viewer Improvements
Finding ores and related materials should now take fewer clicks, with clearer information about where each resource comes from.
- Material overviews: Browse resources such as Gold or Copper together instead of navigating separate pages for every ore variant.
- Quick section navigation: Jump between generation, physical variants, processing, related forms, and Ore Dictionary information.
- Clickable item grids: Browse ore variants, forms, and sources in paginated grids. Left-click for material information; right-click for exact item details.
- Clearer planetary generation: HBM, HBMSpace, and RTM entries retain their planet, dimension, and host-block information. Shared generation rules are grouped while additional planetary generation stays separate.
- Improved source lookups: Furnace results group their input sources, and shared block drops retain links from their source blocks.
- Less page clutter: Removed redundant generation entries and repeated drop/processing information.
- Existing navigation preserved: Mob/drop grids and normal NEI recipe and usage lookups remain available.
Beta notes: Generation coverage depends on supported data and available reference sources. Some conditional generation, custom drops, and processing paths remain incomplete. These changes have been not been tested with LOTR, HBM, or any other mod resources yet.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
