1.4.2
Compatibility
Changes
nixStats 1.4.2
Three ways to show row labels, per-column width controls, and optional short numbers.
Includes everything from 1.4.1, which was never released.
โจ Name display, three ways
One button now cycles between three modes, and its caption always tells you which one you're in:
| Mode | A mined-blocks row shows |
|---|---|
| Show Names | ๐ชจ Stone Minedย ย ย 1,204 |
| Show Abbrev | ๐ชจ Minedย ย ย 1,204 |
| Show None | ๐ชจย ย ย 1,204 |
The sidebar narrows to match, so a HUD you want kept small can drop straight down to icons and numbers. Under Show None the same block tracked under several categories looks identical โ that's intended; the icon and the count are the point.
General stats, advancements and the phantom timer keep their full label in every mode, since their icon alone wouldn't identify them.
๐ Per-column width controls
The single Pad spinner is now three, and the icon gap became adjustable:
- IGap โ the gap between a row's icon and its label
- LPad โ the label column
- VPad โ the value column
- ECol โ how wide the label column is when no row uses it (default
0)
Columns still auto-fit their content; these tune the space around it. Put every row on Show None with ECol at 0 and the label column disappears completely, leaving the icons hard against the numbers. If even one row keeps a label โ a Phantom or advancement row โ the column auto-fits that instead.
๐ข Abbreviate values (optional)
A Values: Full / Values: Short toggle shortens large counts to 1.5K, 2.3M, 1.1B, and the value column narrows to suit. Off by default.
Only plain counts are shortened. Distances, times, the phantom clock and advancement progress keep the format Minecraft gives them. Counts truncate rather than round, so the number never reads higher than it actually is โ 999,999 shows as 999.9K, not 1M.
๐ง Also changed
- The sidebar's minimum width now follows its title bar rather than a fixed 80px, so a HUD with little in it can shrink further than it used to.
- The config screen's spinners are regrouped: six sizing controls on one row, four behaviour controls on the next. Same two rows as before.
๐ฆ Updating
Your config/nixstats.json migrates itself the first time 1.4.2 loads. Your HUD keeps exactly the width and layout it had โ nothing changes appearance until you touch one of the new controls.

Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
