No Totem Animation
When a totem of undying saves you, vanilla throws a giant spinning totem across your whole screen — right when you can least afford to lose sight of a fight. No Totem Animation removes that screen-covering pop animation so your view stays clear. The totem still works exactly the same; you just don't get blinded.
As a bonus, it keeps a tidy totem pop counter on your HUD so you always know how many totems you've burned.
✨ Features
- 🛡️ No pop animation — removes the full-screen totem render the moment it triggers
- 🔢 Totem pop counter — a clean "Totems: N" HUD showing how many totems you've popped
- 🎨 Customizable counter — toggle it on/off, move it (X/Y), change its color
- ♻️ Auto + manual reset — the counter resets when you switch world/server, plus a reset button and a reset keybind
- 🎚️ Mod Menu config — flip every option in-game
- 🪶 Tiny & client-side — no performance cost, works on any server
⚙️ How it works
The mod simply cancels the totem's on-screen "floating item" render — particles and the actual save effect are untouched. Everything is client-side, so you can use it anywhere, including on servers you don't control.
📌 Requirements & notes
- Fabric API required · Mod Menu recommended (for the settings screen)
- Client-side only — no server install needed
- The reset keybind is unbound by default (set it in Controls); on the latest snapshot the counter resets via the in-game button
