- Crayfish Burrowing - Crayfish remain in a burrow state until disturbed.
- Creative Mode Swapping - Right-clicking on crayfish with certain blocks will change their variant:
- Grass Block, Dirt Block = Normal Variant
- Gold Block = Golden Variant
- Ice Block = Ice Variants
- Netherrack, Soul Sand = Nether Variants
- End Stone, Purpur = End Variant

- Variant Immunity: Crayfish variants are now immune to their appropriate environmental hazards

- Crayfish loot now allows for variant-specific drops (Golden Crayfish now drop Raw Gold)
- Golden crayfish now spawn shiny particles
