This update backports the following features from 26.3 to 26.1
- Added
novoatlas:biome_cell_color_mapbiome source- This allows developers to downscale their biome maps by 4x to save memory
- Added a
center_offsetfield to map info objects.- This will adjust where exactly the centre of the map will generate
- Specified as a list of 2 floats that are in units of the width and height of the map.
- Added a
image_wrappingfield to map info objects.- This specifies how to sample height values beyond the finite bounds of the map.
- The three available options are
clamp_to_edge(default),repeat, andmirrored_repeat. - Void will no longer generate beyond the map edge
- Added blend image to random generation
- Added a new example datapack for blend to random image generation
- Increased the transition range of the heightmap density function in image map generators to improve structure blending around blocks high above the surface
- Improved the example datapacks in general

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
