Fixes

  • Loading a palette no longer deletes what was in your hotbar. Items move to your inventory instead, and /palette undo puts the hotbar back.
  • The in-world preview only fills empty space now. It won't overwrite your build or break chests.
  • Preview blocks like sand and gravel no longer fall and drop as items.
  • Previews get cleared when the server stops, instead of being left in the world.
  • The Palettes and Likes tabs in the GUI now work on servers. They used to be stuck asking you to link.
  • You can publish a palette again after deleting it on the site.
  • The update notice now works on alpha builds.

Other changes

  • Block textures in chat instead of coloured squares, if you have the mod installed on your client.
  • Click a swatch to copy its hex.
  • Palettes over nine blocks come in a shulker box instead of a bundle, so you get a full stack of each.
  • The palette you just loaded shows above your hotbar for a few seconds (client-side).
  • Optional palette of the day on join, off by default.

Server admins

  • New config keys: chatBlockTextures, paletteOfTheDay, generateAlias.
  • The bare /generate alias is off by default now so it doesn't clash with other mods. Set generateAlias: true to get it back. /palette generate is unchanged.
  • Your config file picks up the new keys automatically and keeps your settings.
  • New permission nodes for the new commands, plus palettinator.command.reload.
  • Token writes are atomic, so a crash mid-save can't unlink everyone.
