Changes
Changelog 1.0.0-rc3 region era, now with Forge qwq
The big realm changes
- Changed every new realm to one complete, region-aligned 32x32-chunk cell
- Centered the 16x16-chunk buildable area inside it, with an eight-chunk guard on every side
- Added the persisted
region-aligned-32-v1allocation profile so saved bounds stay authoritative - Updated spiral placement so axial and diagonal realms always receive unique Anvil region coordinates
- Updated protection, teleport validation, realm centers, spawns, preset placement, imports, and admin output to use the persisted allocation instead of quietly trusting global geometry
- Removed the old 16x16 early-test allocation path; RC test installations should recreate their realms after a clean reset
Backups got a lil safer
- Added
REGION_COPYbackups for exact region-aligned realms - Backups now include the realm's dedicated terrain, entity, and POI
.mcafiles plus referenced external.mccpayloads - Kept
CHUNK_EXTRACTfor explicit custom allocations, so the selective backup path is still available - Added allocation profile, strategy, payload counts, metadata, and checksums to the backup/catalog formats
- Updated automatic and manual backups to select the strategy from the realm's persisted allocation
- Added exact offline region restore with server-offline checks, persistent-state fingerprinting, quarantine, checksummed replacement, and recoverable operation records
- Restoring one realm leaves every neighboring region file untouched, nice and snug where it belongs qwq
Forge 1.21.1
- Added the Forge 1.21.1 loader module using the Fabric 1.21.1 implementation as the behavioral reference
- Ported runtime composition, commands, persistence, protection hooks, presets, Wilds, backups, and offline tools
- Added Forge production, sources, realm-backup-tool, and Wilds-reset-tool JAR outputs
Polish and verification
- Added fixed RC configuration defaults for the 32/16/8 allocation geometry
- Expanded preset and schematic limits to the full 16x16 buildable area
- Updated README and backup/restore documentation, including the explicit clean-reset procedure
- Added focused allocation, profile, region-copy,
.mcc, restore-isolation, protection, persistence, and teleport tests - Verified the complete clean build for common, Fabric 1.21.1, and Forge 1.21.1
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
