Bug fixes and internal cleanup — no gameplay changes.
- Fixed: Mobs walked to where a player was, not where they are. Cached paths are now skipped entirely when a mob has a moving entity as its target.
- Fixed: Mobs stood still after reaching their destination, breaking villager breeders and general mob AI. Pathwright no longer throttles or defers the pathfinding call a mob makes to start its next goal.
- Fixed: Mobs in crowded areas (farms, breeders) could share the same path object in memory, corrupting each other's navigation. Paths from cache are now always copied before use.
- Fixed: Async path results were applied to mobs that died while the calculation was running. Dead mobs now correctly discard the result.
- Removed: Three internal systems that were either broken or doing nothing were deleted — reducing per-tick overhead on every mob in the world.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
