Changes
New: /peace menu
- Your karma in a chest menu.
/peace menu, or just/peace, opens a menu that works with a vanilla client: your value and tier, your passives, a progress bar to the next value, your ability cooldowns, and a clickable leaderboard sorted by value, kills or peaceful minutes, with everyone's player head. - Nothing in it can be taken out. The chat commands still work as before.
New: Safe zones
- No PvP where you don't want it.
/peace zone add <name> <corner> <corner>marks out an area (your spawn, a market, an event hall) where players can't hurt each other. Hits, arrows and the meteor do nothing there: no damage, no combat tag, no karma. - The Ascendant's abilities don't work from inside a zone and don't reach anyone standing in one. Mobs, lava and falls still hurt.
/peace zone remove <name>and/peace zone listmanage them. Zones are saved with the world and survive a new season.
New: Duels
- Fight without touching karma.
/peace duel <player>sends a challenge with clickable [Accept] and [Deny] buttons. - Duel hits never reset peaceful minutes or combat-tag anyone, and the blow that would kill the loser ends the duel instead: nobody dies, nobody drops items, no kill or death is counted and the Ascendant Path stays put.
- Hits from anyone outside the duel count as usual. You can't start a duel while in combat, logging out forfeits,
/peace duel forfeitgives up, and a duel nobody wins within 5 minutes is a draw. duelsEnabled, duelRequestSecondsandduelMaxMinutesin the config.
New: Rename the tiers
- Every value gets its own name and colour in the new
tierslist inconfig/peacesmp.json. They show in chat, the menu, the player list,/peace infoand%peacesmp:tier%. The defaults are the same as before (Hunter, Aggressive, Neutral, Peaceful, Pacifist, Ascendant).
New: Messages file
- Reword or translate every line players see in
config/peacesmp-messages.json: chat, titles, the action bar, the menu and the ability items' names. It uses&colour codes and{placeholders}, and messages added by future updates are added to your file automatically./peace reloadpicks up changes.
Permissions
peacesmp.command.menuandpeacesmp.command.duelare open to everyone.peacesmp.command.zoneneeds OP, like the other admin commands.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
