New: New-player protection
- Every new player gets 120 minutes of playtime protection, once ever - not again in a new season, and not for anyone who already played before this update.
- While protected, other players can't touch you: no damage from blows, arrows, abilities or tamed animals; arrows, tridents, snowballs, eggs and fishing hooks fly straight through you; wind charges, player-lit TNT, mace smashes, the Sky Drop and other player-made blasts don't push you; and other players walk through you instead of shoving you. Mobs, lava and falls still hurt.
- Nobody can put a bounty on you or duel you, and nothing that touches you counts towards a kill.
- It ends early if you attack a player, or when you choose:
/peace protection off, then confirm. The time left shows on your action bar and in/peace info, and you're told when it's over.
New config keys
newPlayerProtectionMinutes (120). Old configs keep working: missing keys use their defaults and are added to your file.
Permissions
peacesmp.command.protectionis open to everyone.
Fixes
- Karma-gated areas: a player who respawned inside an area they're no longer allowed in could be sent straight back to where they died. Now they get the usual 30 seconds to walk out.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
