3.2.0-neoforge-mc26.3
Compatibility
Changes
PinChat 3.2.0
Pin messages, organize groups, and move with special chat mode open.
Changes
- Fixed special-chat camera turning on GLFW builds by forwarding native mouse deltas; both input backends respect X/Y inversion.
- Add dedicated Minecraft 26.3 builds for Fabric, Quilt and NeoForge, with SDL3 keyboard/mouse input, cursor capture, resource format 97.1, and packaged-JAR gameplay coverage.
- Fixed invisible settings and rename-screen titles by using opaque text colors and drawing titles after the base screen.
- Fixed missing bundled translations and icons in Fabric/Quilt 26.x; release preparation now rejects JARs without English/Russian locales.
- Conflict-free defaults on every supported loader: F8 for settings and F9 for special chat; existing custom bindings are retained.
- Removed unused Forge/NeoForge key actions and added the localized PinChat controls category.
- Fixed mouse-bound and unbound controls in special chat, and original input restoration after screen resizing.
- Gameplay checks now exercise actual defaults and saved custom keyboard/mouse bindings after restart.
- English-first user README with a complete Russian translation, installation, controls, and an in-game example.
- Separate bilingual guides for development, testing, compatibility, and releases.
- English and Russian issue/PR templates and descriptions for all published releases.
- Tests for limits, groups, normalization, and configuration persistence without hiding initialization failures.
- Fabric 1.21.11 Client GameTest and native gameplay checks of packaged release JARs across all 19 supported game/loader combinations.
- Checks for dragging, resizing, movement, camera turning, and persistence after a real client restart.
- Consistent release filenames, SHA-256 checksums, manifest, and gameplay reports tied to the tested JAR.
- Release publication gated on the complete gameplay matrix, with English and Russian release notes.

Download pinchat-mod-<loader>-3.2.0-mc<game-version>.jar from Assets below.
The 26.1.1 and 26.1.2 files are identical copies of the 26.1 build; Quilt uses a Fabric-compatible binary.
Installation
- Install the loader for your Minecraft version.
- Put one matching PinChat JAR in your game profile’s
modsfolder. - For Fabric and Quilt, install Fabric API for your exact game version. Forge and NeoForge require no additional mods.
Controls
Open normal chat: right-click pins a message; Shift + right-click creates a group.
Left-drag groups, resize with ↘, and collapse through the header; [R] renames, [X] deletes.
F9 opens special chat with movement and camera control; F8 opens settings. Data is saved in config/pinchat.json.
F8 and F9 are free in the standard Minecraft controls. Existing profiles retain saved bindings: assign F8/F9 or reset the two PinChat actions individually in Controls → PinChat. Older P bindings conflict with the multiplayer social menu; O opens the friends list in 26.2.
Validation
The workflow permits publication only after builds, unit tests, Client GameTest, and the entire packaged-JAR gameplay matrix pass.
Gameplay checks cover pinning, groups, dragging, resizing, renaming, movement, the settings toggle, persistence after a real client restart, and saved custom keyboard/mouse bindings.
SHA256SUMS contains hashes for every JAR; manifest.json records loader versions and game/file mappings; GAMEPLAY_RESULTS.json records gameplay results and the tested JAR hashes.
Screenshots are diagnostic; automatic reference-image comparison is not implemented.
Limitations
Forge 26.x is not supported. Minecraft 26.3 requires its dedicated JAR and Java 25; its NeoForge loader is currently beta.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
