Changes
PlayerPing 1.1.0
Added
- Added
/pingplayer thresholdcommand family for operator-managed ping tiers. - Added support for threshold modes:
equal-or-more <value>equal-or-less <value>equal <value><min> <max>interval mode
- Added command suggestions/tab-completion for threshold configuration.
- Added
/pingplayer threshold <tier>to display the current range for a tier. - Added overlap validation to prevent two tiers from sharing intersecting ranges.
- Added support for both Fabric and NeoForge release artifacts in this version line.
Changed
- Threshold updates now apply immediately and are persisted to
config/player-ping/config.json. - Ping quality logic now uses explicit tier ranges (
excellent, good, fair, poor, terrible) instead of fixed legacy cutoffs. - Config loading now auto-migrates legacy keys (
medium, bad) to the new tier model. - Help output updated with new threshold syntax and examples.
Removed
- Removed
/pingplayer reload(no longer needed because changes are live-applied).
Fixed
- Fixed startup crash (
ExceptionInInitializerError/NullPointerException) caused byPingSettingsstatic initialization order. - Fixed potential ambiguous behavior from overlapping ranges by rejecting conflicting updates.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
