Changes
- The volume of the rain sound, which is related to precipitation, reaches its maximum when the temperature is 3°C (37.4°F) or higher. As the temperature approaches 1°C (33.8°F), the rain sound gradually decreases in volume along a curved trajectory. When the temperature drops to 0°C or below, the unique rain sound is not played. This should also cause the sound to transition from rain to snow.
- Until now, there have been a “Level 3” Heavy Rain Warning and a “Level 5” Extreme Rain Warning, but we have now added a new “Level 4” Dangerous Heavy Rain Warning.
- We will designate this version and subsequent versions as release versions.
- After launching Minecraft, you may need to log back into the world (for single-player) or
- restart the server (for multiplayer) for the rain sounds to play.
- In either case, this needs to be done the first time you open the world.
Optional dependencies
Any compatible version
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
