Pokémon Editor 1.7.0 — Data Workspace Update
Added
- A paginated species catalogue opened by using the Pokémon Data Editor item in the air.
- Server-side search by localized species name or resource ID, plus override-state and namespace filters.
- A paginated active-override manager with section summaries, persistent selection and selected-species
.peditorpackexport. - Inherited and custom values for both types and all six base stats, with independent per-field return-to-inheritance controls.
- A visual backup history showing timestamp, action, actor and added/removed/changed species before rollback.
- A
.peditorpackmanager with conflict preview, merge import and double-confirmed replace import. - English, Russian and Ukrainian localization and adaptive layouts for every new workspace screen.
Changed
- Empty override sections are omitted, and a species patch is removed after its final custom value returns to inheritance.
- Mass reset, import and rollback stage and validate the full result before atomically replacing active species data.
- Species edits carry revision hashes and reject stale screens instead of overwriting newer administrator changes.
- Exporting a reused name creates a numbered
.peditorpackinstead of overwriting the existing file. - Override filenames include a stable target hash; legacy 1.6.x filenames remain readable and migrate on edit.
- Large history and pack previews keep exact totals while bounding transmitted samples and metadata.
Security
- Catalogue selections are permission-checked and server-validated before an editor opens.
- Export, import and rollback confirmations are server-issued, expire after 60 seconds and recheck permissions and revisions at commit time.
- Pack parsing rejects unsupported schemas, unknown or duplicate species, duplicate/unknown entries, unsafe paths and excessive sizes.
- Imports are limited to 512 species, an 8 MiB archive, 256 KiB per entry and 4 MiB total unpacked data.
- Import and rollback bind confirmation to the SHA-256 fingerprint of the reviewed server file.
Fixed
- Fixed pack import and backup rollback resolving valid files against the wrong relative directory on some installations.
- Fixed an early startup refresh trying to apply overrides before Cobblemon's species registry was ready.
- Fixed the Packs screen page counter colliding with the import button at large GUI scales.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- Cobblemon 1.8.0
- Fabric Loader 0.18.4+ with Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin
- NeoForge 21.1.235+
- Java 21
- Matching Pokémon Editor 1.7.0 build required on both client and server
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
