Changes
Pokémon Editor 1.6.0 — Data Editor Update
Added
- Added a separate, glinting Pokémon Data Editor item for editing shared species data through an in-game interface.
- Added species-wide editing of primary and secondary types, all six base stats, and the displayed base-stat total.
- Added adaptive type dropdowns, localized screens, field validation, and scope tooltips in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
- Added compact, versioned species override files under
config/pokemon-editor/data-editor/species/. - Added
/pokemondatacommands for editing, listing, reloading, enabling, disabling, and resetting overrides. - Added
/pokemondata reset allwith an expiring one-time confirmation code. - Added portable
.peditorpackimport and export for sharing custom species configurations.
Changed
- Data Editor overrides load after Cobblemon and ordinary datapacks, giving them final priority without modifying the original files.
- Resetting or deleting an override restores the value from Cobblemon or the highest-priority ordinary datapack.
- Species changes are server-authoritative and synchronized to connected clients.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- Cobblemon 1.8.0
- NeoForge 21.1.235+
- Fabric Loader 0.18.4+
- Fabric API 0.116.15+1.21.1 and Fabric Language Kotlin on Fabric
- The matching Pokémon Editor 1.6.0 build is required on both client and server
Data Editor changes affect every Pokémon of the edited species. Avoid changing species data during an active battle.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
